About Therapy
Therapy (also called counseling or psychotherapy) is a collaborative, evidence-based process in which you work with a trained therapist to understand your thoughts, emotions and behaviours — and develop strategies to improve your wellbeing. It helps with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, and many other challenges. It also helps people who simply want to understand themselves better.
Friends offer empathy and support, which is valuable. A therapist offers something different: professional training in evidence-based techniques, a completely confidential space with no social judgement, and a structured, goal-oriented process. Your therapist has no stake in the outcome except your wellbeing.
There is no universal answer. Some people experience meaningful change in 6–8 sessions. Others benefit from longer-term work over months or years. Your therapist will review progress with you regularly and there is never any pressure to continue beyond what feels right.
Our therapists are trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), EMDR (trauma), Gottman Method (couples), play therapy (children), somatic approaches, mindfulness-based therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. Your therapist will explain which approach they recommend and why.
Booking & Sessions
Visit our Booking page, choose your service and therapist, select a date and time, and fill in your details. You'll receive a confirmation email within 2 hours. The whole process takes under 3 minutes.
Session fees range from ₹800 to ₹2,500 depending on the therapist and service. We offer a sliding-scale fee structure based on financial need — please mention this when booking and we'll find an arrangement that works for you.
Yes. You can cancel or reschedule without charge up to 24 hours before your session. After that, we ask for a small cancellation fee to compensate the therapist's reserved time. Please email us or use your dashboard.
Your first session (30 minutes, free) is an orientation and assessment. Your therapist will listen to what brings you in, explain how they work, and together you'll decide next steps. There's no pressure and no assessment forms — just conversation.
We offer both online (video) sessions and in-person sessions at our Bengaluru centre. Home visits are available for elderly clients or those with mobility challenges — please contact us to arrange.
Privacy & Safety
Yes. Everything shared in your sessions is protected by strict professional confidentiality (RCI and IPA guidelines). Your therapist will not share any information without your written consent — with very rare, legally mandated exceptions involving immediate risk to life.
No. We will not contact or inform anyone — including your family — without your explicit permission. You control who knows about your therapy entirely.
Yes. We use end-to-end encrypted video platforms for all online sessions. Sessions are never recorded without your written consent. Your data is stored encrypted at rest using AES-256.
If your therapist believes there is an immediate risk to your life or someone else's, they will follow a clear safety protocol: discuss options with you first, contact your emergency contact if provided, and if necessary involve emergency services. They will always try to involve you in this process.
Online Therapy
No. Our secure video sessions work in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) on desktop, tablet or mobile. No downloads, no logins to third-party services.
Your therapist will wait 5 minutes and attempt to contact you by phone. If the session is significantly disrupted, we will reschedule at no extra charge.
Research consistently shows that online therapy is equally effective as in-person for most conditions. Many clients find that the privacy and comfort of their own space actually enhances the therapeutic process.
Children & Families
We work with children from age 4 upwards. Younger children (4–6) primarily use play and art-based therapy. Talk-based therapy becomes more central from around age 8.
Yes. A parent or legal guardian must provide written consent for therapy with anyone under 18. Parents also receive progress updates (with the child's knowledge), though the content of sessions remains confidential.
For young children, initial sessions often include parents. For teenagers, we generally see them individually — the therapeutic relationship requires trust and privacy. Parent coaching sessions are offered separately.
