1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Shrut Sakha website, booking system or any services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Services Description
Shrut Sakha provides professional mental health counselling, psychotherapy, workshops and related wellness services. Our Services are provided by licensed and qualified mental health professionals. Shrut Sakha is not a medical or psychiatric service and does not provide prescriptions, diagnoses under the clinical model, or hospital-level care.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to book services independently. Clients under 18 require written parental or guardian consent. By using our Services, you confirm you meet this requirement or that appropriate consent has been obtained.
4. Appointments & Cancellations
Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations (within 24 hours) may incur a fee of 50% of the session cost. No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full session fee. We reserve the right to terminate a session if a client is intoxicated, abusive, or poses a safety risk.
5. Payment
Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. We accept UPI, net banking, debit/credit cards and bank transfer. All payments are processed securely. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
6. Confidentiality
All session content is confidential subject to our Confidentiality Policy. By using our Services, you acknowledge and consent to the limited exceptions to confidentiality described in that policy (e.g. imminent risk to life, legal requirements).
7. Limitations of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Shrut Sakha's liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our Services is limited to the fees paid by you in the 3 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or punitive damages. Mental health therapy outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
8. Emergency Situations
Our Services are not a substitute for emergency medical or psychiatric care. If you are in immediate danger, call 112. Our crisis line (1800-599-0019) is available 24×7 but is not a replacement for emergency services.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, videos, worksheets and resources — is the property of Shrut Sakha or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
